Beverly Bantom raised the bar in providing professional services that strengthened her clients’ brand identities. For 25 years, her company, Unique Expressions, provided marketing and communication products, corporate business gifts, and creative marketing solutions. She also created the trademarked brand “NativeDetroiter” as a symbol of pride for fellow native Detroiters.

Beverly is also the author of this powerful book, inspired by the legacy of Maxine Powell.

This book will captivate readers with Maxine Powell’s Detroit entertainment images from the 1950’s. Ms. Powell was the legendary etiquette instructor who helped shape the image, poise, and stage presence of Motown’s most iconic artists.

Through her writing, Beverly explores themes of confidence, grace, perseverance, and the importance of carrying oneself with dignity in every area of life. Her work pays tribute to timeless values while encouraging modern readers to embrace excellence, purpose, and self-respect.

Maxine Powell referred to Beverly as her “God-Sent Daughter.”  Ms. Powell began the writings for her book before she passed, and Beverly promised her that she would finish it.
